What do your donations and workshop fee’s help to support?

All donations and profits from the Vancouver Island Fibre Fest go towards supporting the Specialized Recreation programs offered by the City of Campbell River Recreation and Culture department. Our fundraising efforts help to keep these programs affordable and we appreciate your assistance in helping us to achieve this goal.

You will be able to see the results of one of these very popular and successful programs at Fibre Fest once again this year.  Sewing for Fun is a program that teaches the very important life skill of sewing and FUN is the main component of the program! 

​

The Sewing for Fun students and their teachers will be at their booth throughout the weekend and you will have the opportunity of seeing them at work.  They will be happy to show the many items that they have created over the past year and some items will be for sale as well! 

Some of them will also be taking part in a fashion show at the Reception on the Saturday evening!  You won't want to miss this inspiring evening. Tickets to the Evening Reception will be on sale at the Information table and at the door for $5.
